The best AI product photography tools in 2026, by job
The best tool depends on the job. For store listing photos, look at Photoroom (free for personal use, Pro $12.99 a month) and Pebblely (from $9). For clothes on a model, look at Botika, FASHN, Raspberry AI or Uwear. For ads, Google Pomelli is free, and Meta, Google and Amazon build AI tools into their ad accounts. Teams that build their own pipelines use Figma Weave or Flora; one-off edits suit ChatGPT or Gemini. For a planned campaign set from one brief, look at brief-in tools such as Higgsfield Marketing Studio, Lamina, Pletor and Overs. Prices as of September 24, 2026.
How this list works
Tools are grouped by the job they do, so you compare a listing app with other listing apps and a fashion tool with other fashion tools. Each row gives what the tool does, its free option, its entry price and who it suits. Prices are from each vendor’s own pages on September 24, 2026, in US dollars, and are monthly unless noted. We make Overs, one of the brief-in tools near the end, so a later section lists plainly what the other tools do that ours does not.
Product-photo apps for store listings
These take one product photo and return listing images: cutouts, new backgrounds and staged scenes. They charge in credits or image counts that include the model cost.
| Tool | What it does | Free option | Paid from | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Photoroom | Background removal, AI backgrounds, batch edits of up to 250 images, and AI Shot List, which makes studio, lifestyle, flat-lay and try-on shots from one photo; Shopify listings from the Max plan; API and MCP | Personal use only; 100 exports a month, up to 2000 × 2000 px | $12.99 a month ($7.50 billed yearly) | High-volume catalogs; enterprise buyers who want product accuracy written into the contract |
| Pebblely | Template backgrounds and scenes, bulk generation, and group shots of up to 5 products | No free trial on its pricing page | $9 a month for 30 images | Packaged goods that need many backgrounds cheaply |
| Flair | A drag-and-drop staging canvas that trains a custom model on your product from 6 to 10 photos | 5 images; Flair owns what free users make | $10 a month ($8 billed yearly) | One hero product you need in many scenes |
| Claid | AI photoshoots, AI fashion models, upscaling and image-to-video from one credit pool, plus an API | 50 trial credits; one AI photoshoot costs 4 | $15 a month for 500 credits ($9 billed yearly) | Marketplace sellers who also want upscaling and an API |
| Pixelcut | Background removal, upscaling, and AI credits that work across several image and video models | Limited background removal and upscaling, no watermark, no AI credits | $10 a month for 600 AI credits ($8 billed yearly) | Cheap everyday edits |
Clothes on a model
These put a real garment on a generated model, starting from a flat lay, a mannequin shot or a photo of a person. They handle garment accuracy in different ways: human retouching, an automatic check against the product photo, or try-on models built in house.
| Tool | What it does | Free option | Paid from | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Botika | On-model photos from flat lays, mannequin shots or on-model photos, using a library of AI models; human retouch rounds on yearly plans | 8 credits, no card needed | $55 a month for 50 photos ($46 billed yearly) | Brands that want a person to fix each photo |
| FASHN | Try-on and product-to-model tools up to 4K, an API priced per credit, and an open-source try-on model | 10 credits | $19 a month for 200 credits | Teams that want an API with published prices per output |
| Raspberry AI | From sketch to render to campaign image for fashion design teams, with front, back, quarter and side views | 50 credits, no card needed | $49 a month for 120 credits | Design and product teams working from sketches |
| Uwear | An assistant that drafts the art direction and quotes the cost before a test shot; an optional reviewer that checks each take against the product photo and retries; batches of up to 10,000 images; API and MCP | None | $0.10 a credit, $17 minimum; a Nano Banana 2 photo at 1K costs 3 credits | Catalog runs where you choose the model for each job |
Photoroom also turns a flat lay or ghost-mannequin photo into on-model shots, at 1K on Pro and up to 4K on its top plan. For the workflow behind all of these, see AI fashion photography.
Ad platforms and design suites
These sit where you already design or buy ads. Google and Amazon say their tools are free, and Pomelli costs nothing at all.
| Tool | What it does | Free option | Paid from | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google Pomelli | Reads your website into a Business DNA, then makes social posts, studio or lifestyle product shots and short animations | Free, capped at several hundred generations | No paid plan | Small brands that want on-brand social posts at no cost |
| Canva | Design and AI image tools; Canva Grow turns a website and product photos into three ad concepts and publishes to Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn | Up to 20 AI uses a month; background remover and Magic Edit not included | Pro is priced by country; Business launched at $20 a person a month | Teams that already design and post from Canva |
| Adobe Firefly | Firefly’s own image models plus partner models such as Nano Banana and GPT Image; custom models trained on your images (beta) | Daily free generations; Adobe publishes no number | $9.99 a month for 2,000 credits | Teams already in Adobe; Adobe sells Firefly’s own models as safe for commercial use |
| Meta Advantage+ creative | Image variations, generated backgrounds for catalog ads, 2-second animations and text variations inside Ads Manager | Built into Ads Manager | No separate price listed | Testing ad variants on Facebook and Instagram |
| Google Product Studio and Asset Studio | Scenes, background removal, upscaling and product video in Merchant Center; Nano Banana Pro scenes in Google Ads | Product Studio is free | No separate price listed | Google Shopping and Google Ads advertisers |
| Amazon Ads creative tools | Lifestyle images from your product listings, video ads, and a creative agent that drafts storyboards and ads | Currently free to use | No separate price listed | Sellers who advertise on Amazon |

Chat assistants
| Tool | What it does | Free option | Paid from | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | ChatGPT Images 2.5 puts an uploaded product into new scenes, edits one area, adds text and makes transparent PNGs | Limited and slower image generation | Go, $8 a month in the US App Store | One-off shots and quick edits |
| Gemini app | Makes and edits images with Nano Banana 2 from a prompt and several reference photos | Nano Banana 2 for everyone; limits not published | Google AI plans add Nano Banana Pro | Quick edits for people already in Google’s apps |
Both work one image at a time, so a matching set of ten or more takes careful prompting and checking. See can ChatGPT make product photos and, for the models underneath, which AI image model is best for product photos.
Canvases for building your own pipeline
A canvas lets you wire models and edits together as boxes, called nodes, and run the same pipeline on every product. Someone on your team has to build and maintain it.
| Tool | What it does | Free option | Paid from | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Figma Weave | A node canvas with most major image and video models plus editing nodes; some Weave tools run inside Figma Design (beta) | 150 credits a month, with a commercial license | $24 a month for 1,500 credits | Figma teams and art directors who want control of every step |
| Flora | A node canvas with 50+ models, an agent that builds workflows, free guest seats for comments, API and MCP | Limited free generations, image and text models only | $18 a seat a month, all of it model use at listed prices | Agencies that review work with clients on the canvas |
| Krea | Real-time generation, node workflows, its own Krea 2 model, and training on a product or style from 3 or more images | 50 compute units a day | $10 a month | Fast visual exploration and small trained styles |
| ComfyUI | Open-source node software that runs free on your own computer, or on rented GPUs in Comfy Cloud | Free on your own computer | Comfy Cloud $20 a month ($16 billed yearly) | Technical teams that want full control |

What the other tools do that ours does not
As of September 2026, the other tools on this page are ahead of ours in these ways.
- Video. Higgsfield, Pomelli, Canva, Botika, FASHN, Claid, Uwear, Flora and Figma Weave all make video. Ours writes a text prompt for a video model and makes no video itself.
- Publishing. Canva Grow publishes ads to Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn, Adobe GenStudio pushes ads to Meta and LinkedIn, Photoroom creates draft Shopify listings, and Pomelli sends images to Google Ads and Instagram. Ours exports files.
- An API or MCP. Photoroom, Uwear, FASHN, Claid, Flora, Pletor and Higgsfield have one or both. Ours has neither.
- Free with no model account. Pomelli, ChatGPT, the Gemini app, Canva, Figma Weave and Flora work without an account at a model provider. Ours needs an OpenRouter key, one account for many AI models, with a little credit on it.
- A model trained on your product. Flair, Krea and Adobe Firefly (custom models, in beta) train on your own images. Ours works from reference photos.
- Contract terms. Photoroom Enterprise writes product-accuracy criteria into the contract and charges only for accepted images, and Adobe offers IP indemnity to eligible enterprise customers.
How to choose
- Name the job: listing photos, an on-model catalog, ads inside one platform, or a campaign set. Start in that group.
- Try the free option first, and check what it allows. Photoroom’s free plan is for personal use only, and Flair owns images made on its free tier.
- Run the same product through two tools, ten renders each, and count the images you would publish. See how many AI renders it takes to get one usable photo.
- Compare what each usable photo costs you. Credits hide the price of each model; see how much AI product photos cost.
- Read the terms on training and commercial use before you upload products that are not public yet.
Questions people also ask
- Which AI product photo tools are free?
- Google Pomelli is free, capped at several hundred generations. ChatGPT, the Gemini app, Canva (20 AI uses a month), Figma Weave (150 credits a month) and Flora have free plans, and Google’s Product Studio and Amazon’s ad creative tools cost nothing for merchants and advertisers. What each free plan allows is compared in free AI product photo tools.
- Is there one tool that does all of this?
- Not as of September 2026. Listing apps focus on catalog images, canvases need someone to build the pipeline, and ad-platform tools work inside their own ad accounts. Match one tool to each job you do every month, and test it on your own product first.
- How often do these prices change?
- Often. Higgsfield’s own blog listed its Starter plan at $15 for 200 credits, with prices verified on September 11, 2026; on September 24 its pricing page showed $19 for 270 credits. Check the vendor’s page on the day you buy.
Where Overs fits
Overs is a brief-in tool. From one product photo and your brand details it plans a mixed set, casts one model for worn products, shows the plan and an estimated cost before rendering, and records approve, change or reject on each photo. It does not make video, publish or offer an API. The plan is free for 40 photos a month; the AI costs a few cents a photo on your own key from OpenRouter, a service that bills many AI models through one account.
Free for 40 photos a month. The AI that makes the photos is billed separately, on your own key, with no markup from Overs.
