What is Higgsfield?
Higgsfield is an AI image and video studio from San Francisco, founded in 2023 by Alex Mashrabov, formerly head of generative AI at Snap. It puts its own models and other makers’ models, such as Kling, Veo, Seedance and Nano Banana, behind one credit balance. Its Marketing Studio turns a product photo or a website link into ads from 1,500+ templates. Paid plans start at $19 a month (September 24, 2026).
What Higgsfield does
Higgsfield is a web studio where you pick a model or a ready-made tool, add a prompt or photos, and pay for each result in credits. It has its own models, such as Soul for images and Popcorn for storyboards, alongside other makers’ image models (Nano Banana, GPT Image, Seedream, FLUX) and video models. Its menu also lists an API, an MCP connection for AI assistants, a canvas and a ChatGPT plugin.
Many of the model families on its pricing page make video: Kling, Google’s Veo, ByteDance’s Seedance, Wan, Grok Video and MiniMax’s Hailuo among them. That, plus templates for ads, is what sets it apart from product-photo apps.
Marketing Studio for product ads
Marketing Studio is Higgsfield’s ad maker. You pick a template, add a product photo or paste your website link, and it returns a finished ad in one click. Higgsfield announced a new version on August 18, 2026 with 1,500+ templates for product shots (with or without a generated model), Meta and Google ad sizes, marketplace listings, posters, UGC-style video and motion, with video up to 15 seconds.
| Output | Credits | About |
|---|---|---|
| Product shot, 2K | 1.5 | $0.075 |
| Poster, 2K | 7.5 | $0.38 |
| Video, 8 seconds, 720p | 47.62 | $2.38 |
| Video, 15 seconds, 720p | 89.2 | $4.46 |
Marketing Studio also shows a "virality score" for each ad. Higgsfield’s help center calls it an estimate to guide your choice and not a guarantee of performance.
Plans and credits
| Plan | Price per month | Credits per month | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 0 | A small set of models, a watermark on every image, commercial use not included |
| Starter | $19 | 270 | Selected models, no unlimited offers |
| Plus | $59, or $47 billed yearly | 1,200 | Adds 7 days of unlimited Nano Banana 2 at 2K |
| Ultra | From $129, or $99 billed yearly | From 3,000 | Adds 7 days of unlimited Nano Banana Pro at 2K |
| Team | $79 a seat, or $65 billed yearly | 1,000 a seat | A shared workspace |
| Enterprise | By quote | Custom | Indemnification, no training on your data, SOC 2 |
Credits buy different amounts on each model. On the pricing page, a Nano Banana Pro image costs 2 credits (4 at 4K), a GPT Image or Seedream image 1 credit, and a Higgsfield Soul 2.0 image 0.12 credits. Video costs more. Five seconds of Kling 3.0 at 720p take about 7 credits, and four seconds of Veo 3.1 at 720p about 40.
So the Starter plan’s 270 credits buy about 135 Nano Banana Pro images, or about 180 Marketing Studio product shots at 2K, or about six 4-second Veo 3.1 clips. Prices move fast. A Higgsfield blog post with prices verified on September 11, 2026 listed Starter at $15 for 200 credits, and the pricing page showed $19 for 270 credits on September 24.

Rules to read before you pay
- Training: the terms let Higgsfield train its models on your content, inputs and outputs unless you are an Enterprise customer. Deleting your content or account stops it from then on.
- Ownership: Higgsfield claims no ownership of your inputs or outputs and lets you pass rights to clients. Its pricing table still marks commercial use as not included on the free plan.
- Expiry: unused plan credits expire at the end of each billing period, and credit packs expire 90 days after purchase.
- Refunds: only within 7 days of your first purchase and only if no credits were used. Renewals are not refunded.
- Unlimited offers: for personal, human use only, on higgsfield.ai and not through the MCP, CLI or canvas. They run in the standard queue and can slow down at busy times.
- Watermark: every image made on a free account carries a Higgsfield watermark.
Who Higgsfield suits
Higgsfield suits marketers who need many ad formats and video quickly and are happy to start from templates: UGC-style clips, product motion, and image ads sized for Meta and Google. It suits less well a brand that needs every frame to follow its own art direction, a team that cannot let uploads be used for training outside an Enterprise contract, or anyone planning heavy video work on a small plan, since 270 credits cover only about six short Veo clips.

- There is a free plan, but it includes no credits and only a small set of models, puts a watermark on every image, and its pricing table marks commercial use as not included. Paid plans start at $19 a month for 270 credits (September 24, 2026). See free AI product photo tools for options that cost nothing.
- Can I use Higgsfield images in ads?
- Higgsfield’s terms say it claims no ownership of your outputs, does not restrict commercial use of them, and lets you pass rights to clients. Its pricing page marks commercial use as included on paid plans, and legal indemnification appears only on Enterprise. See can you use AI images commercially.
- Is Higgsfield good for product photos?
- It can. Marketing Studio has product-shot templates at 1.5 credits for a 2K image, and you can run Nano Banana Pro or GPT Image directly. As with any image model, check each result against the real product, especially labels and logos. See why AI changes your product.
Where Overs fits
Overs does not make video; it can write a text prompt for each photo to use in a video model such as Seedance or Veo. For stills, it plans a set of product and campaign photos from your brand and shows the plan and estimated cost before rendering. The plan is free for 40 photos a month; the AI costs a few cents a photo on your own key from OpenRouter, a service that bills many AI models through one account.
Free for 40 photos a month. The AI that makes the photos is billed separately, on your own key, with no markup from Overs.
